A Growing Network of Support and Connection
Budapest is home to one of the largest Ukrainian communities in Central Europe, with thousands of newcomers arriving since 2022. This growing network provides social, financial, and emotional support, making it easier to transition into life in Hungary. Ukrainian-run businesses, cultural events, and local support groups help people stay connected to their heritage while integrating into a new society. Organizations and volunteers offer legal guidance, language courses, job placement assistance, and housing support, helping Ukrainians navigate the challenges of settling in a foreign country. Whether it’s finding a job, enrolling children in school, or simply meeting others from home, the community makes sure no one feels alone.
